You could experience the Thrills of Rally Racing with the Iconic 1997 Monte Carlo Subaru Impreza WRC Driven by Colin McRae. For true rally enthusiasts, the chance to own an early generation World Rally Championship (WRC) car is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. And now, such an opportunity is here, with the 1997 Monte Carlo Subaru Impreza WRC, originally driven by the late, great Colin McRae, up for sale. The Impreza WRC, with registration number P2 WRC, was initially mounted on Chassis 3 and served as a works entry for Subaru in the 1997 Monte Carlo Rally. McRae, alongside co-driver Nicky Grist, took the wheel, but unfortunately, the duo had an accident during the event, resulting in a Did Not Finish (DNF). However, P2 WRC was not left to gather dust. It was later mated to Prodrive Chassis 21 (registered on January 1, 1998) and was privately campaigned in Europe during the 1998 to 2000 seasons, resulting in numerous victories, including the Hungarian Championship in 1998 & 1999.

To better handle the Irish stages, the car was professionally converted to right-hand drive by Stan Harper prior to its current ownership. This conversion has only added to the car's prestige and value as a rare and historic piece of rally racing memorabilia. For fans of Colin McRae and Richard Burns, this is an opportunity to own a piece of their legacy. Check out footage of the Impreza WRC in the capable hands of these rally legends and imagine the thrill of driving a true rally racing icon.
